Reflection House,
Garrett Co. Maryland

Casa della Fenice, Inc., d/b/a Reflection House, is a new nonprofit organization working to establish the first addiction recovery housing in Garrett County Maryland.  

As a 12-month, Level 2 residential recovery program, Reflection House seeks to provide addiction counseling services, and linkages to health care and behavioral health services to women with SUD in Western Maryland. 

Using a social enterprise model, residents will also receive training in life and relationship skills, job skills and real-world coping skills to support their sustained recovery.


Project funding comes from multiple sources including the Garrett County Health Department, the Rural Maryland Council, and generous private donors. Project slated for completion in 2023.

Evaluation of Youth Programs
& Services

The purpose of this evaluation was to inventory existing youth centered programs in Allegany County, identify potential evidence-base for existing programming, impediments to access, ability to reduce the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACES), and gaps in services which contribute to inequity and disparity.

Performance Period: January 2022 - June 2022

Vendor: Archway Station, Inc.

Funding for this project was provided exclusively by the pass-through of grant funds to the City of Cumberland through the Allegany County Local Management Board.
